…or the food from Asterix and Obelix the two most famous Gauls!
We’ve been mulling over this idea for a long time and we’ve finally got to make it happen! The Philosopher’s Stove has teamed up with the awesome Map cafe Studio – Facebook / Map cafe website to throw a Gallic Banquet. Our chefs Thom and Stathis will recreate some of the main dishes found in our favourite all-time classic comic ‘The Adventures of Asterix’ (aka ‘Asterix and Obelix’).
We’ll be serving 3 courses and we’ll also have some live music to go nicely with the setting. However, we promise we won’t be recreating the tunes of infamous Cacophonix! Otherwise, feel free to tie our musicians up a tree 😉
You can choose one option from starter, main and dessert – please let us know which one when you book.
You might see Frabala too around the corner 🙂
We really look forward to seeing you there.
SECRET RECIPE, PLEASE DON’T ASK. Neither Getafix nor the Philosopher let us give you any info on this drink. Just don’t let obélix have any; he fell in the marmite when he was young.
